Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has selected tennis icon Novak Djokovic as the ideal athlete to replicate his audacious cricketing shots. Pant was recently seen at Wimbledon, attending the Jannik Sinner versus Grigor Dimitrov match.

"I believe I must support Alcaraz. My prediction is that he will win Wimbledon. Ultimately, the player who performs the best will prevail. However, Djokovic certainly has the capability to execute my shots," Pant told Star Sports.

Moreover, the Indian wicketkeeper expressed his admiration for Roger Federer, noting that he draws inspiration from Federer's backhand shots. He also mentioned Nick Kyrgios as a player with a similar charisma to his own.

"This is my first visit here, and it's a wonderful experience. I have a great deal of admiration for Roger Federer; I've always been inspired by his backhand. As the sport evolves, Djokovic has been incredible. Currently, Sinner and Alcarez are my two favorites of all time. Nick Kyrgios is someone I genuinely enjoy watching because of his playing style and enjoyment of the game, which is something I always appreciate," he added.

Pant's recent form in the Test series against England has been remarkable. He etched his name in the record books, becoming only the second wicketkeeper in cricket history to achieve centuries in both innings of a Test match during the first game at Headingley, Leeds. Furthermore, he scored a brilliant 65 in the second innings of the second Test, contributing to India's victory by 336 runs, leveling the series 1-1.
